Coaching

Moving forward through powerful questions and practical exercises.
Coaching is a supportive process that helps you clarify what truly matters to you, better understand how you function, and move with greater awareness towards what brings meaning to your life.
Through active, compassionate listening and questions tailored to your situation, it invites you to explore your strengths, talents, needs and deeper aspirations. It can also help bring to light certain obstacles or limiting beliefs, opening the door to new perspectives.
In my practice, I draw more from regenerative and wellbeing-oriented coaching than from performance coaching. My intention is to offer you a space where you can slow down, step back, and reconnect with greater clarity, alignment and confidence in your choices.
The goal is neither to find solutions for you nor to impose a direction. Rather, it is to support the emergence of your own answers, so that you can move forward autonomously, responsibly and in a way that feels right for you.
What makes my approach unique is the integration of the body, the connection with the Living World and, when relevant, an energetic dimension. Some answers are not found through reflection alone; they also emerge from our sensations, our intuition and our relationship with the world around us.
Coaching is part of a wellbeing and personal development approach. It is not intended to replace medical advice, treatment or psychotherapeutic support.
A word about the origins of coaching
The word coach is believed to originate from the Hungarian town of Kocs (pronounced "Kotch"), which became renowned in the 16th century for manufacturing horse-drawn carriages used to transport travellers. These "coaches" were designed to carry people from one place to another.
A few centuries later, the term was adopted in English academic circles to refer to tutors who helped students prepare for their examinations. It was subsequently used in sports, the arts and many other fields of personal and professional development.
Even today, this image of a journey remains central: coaching consists of accompanying an individual, a group or a team from a starting point towards a destination, whether that involves an inner transformation, a project to bring to life, a life transition or an obstacle to overcome.
Philosophical roots
Some trace the origins of coaching back to Socrates and his method of maieutics (from Maia, the Greek goddess associated with childbirth and midwives - Socrates' own mother is believed to have been a midwife as well).
Convinced that each person already carries within themselves the answers they seek, Socrates guided his interlocutors through thoughtful questioning designed to help them clarify their thinking, confront contradictions and ultimately "give birth" to their own truth.
Walking Coaching

When the body begins to move, something within us often starts moving too.
Tensions soften, our perspective widens and thoughts become more fluid. While walking, it can become easier to step back, gain clarity about what is unfolding within us and allow new perspectives to emerge.
Walking coaching combines the benefits of coaching, movement and connection with Nature.
Research and observation have notably shown that:
-
Movement stimulates brain activity and supports creativity, attention and learning.
-
Contact with Nature promotes calm, self-awareness and reflective thinking.
-
Walking side by side often creates a simpler, more authentic and less formal setting than a traditional face-to-face conversation.
-
The rhythm of walking helps quiet repetitive mental chatter and encourages deeper self-listening.
What this approach can offer you
-
A living space for reflection, where ideas, emotions and sensations can flow more freely.
-
An opportunity to gain perspective on a situation while remaining grounded in the experience of the present moment.
-
A reconnection with your body, Nature and your deeper resources.
-
A more organic and embodied way of moving forward on your path.
This approach may be right for you if you:
-
feel the need to step outside an enclosed setting or give an overactive mind some space to breathe;
-
would like to bring movement into a period of reflection or transition;
-
wish to reconnect with your body, your inner experience and the Living World;
-
appreciate Nature as a space for renewal, inspiration and exploration.
How does a session unfold?
Each session is unique, but generally includes:
-
periods of mindful walking in a natural environment;
-
moments of pause to welcome an emotion, clarify an intention or allow a new insight to emerge;
-
coaching-inspired questions, sometimes enriched by metaphors offered by the landscape or the path itself;
-
opportunities for dialogue, listening and exploration while in movement;
-
and, of course, space for the unexpected and for whatever the Living World may choose to offer.
